Since 1963, Troop 203 has had a commitment to the youth in its program and the community. We strive to be able to provide the youth of Troop 203 with a quality scouting program.

Founder of the Scouting Movement
First chartered at Pope School, Troop 203 was founded in 1963.
We draw students from throughout Jackson-Madison County and surrounding counties.
We typically have about 20-30 active Boy Scouts along with a support group of adult leaders.
In addition to the Scoutmaster we have many Assistant Scoutmasters and a Troop Committee that oversees the program.
We facilitate a Boy Lead Troop.
Several important events each year are our Webelos Crossover, Summer Camp, and our Christmas Court of Honor.
We conduct several Service projects each year to provide opportunities for the boys to serve their community and others. We have been involved in food drives, assisting with the homeless, various flag ceremonies and retirements, as well as a host of other events each year.
We also provide fundraising opportunities for the Scouts throughout the year as an opportunity to learn how to earn their own way as well as help out with outing and Summer Camp fees.
